🚨 Reece James could be back in 10 days, there is growing optimism that Reece James' knee injury is not serious. He will undergo final tests in the next 24 hours to determine the extent of the injury. He wasn’t in any significant discomfort on Wednesday, a positive sign ahead of definitive scans.


🚨 Chelsea will hope to have James available for their trip to Brentford next Wednesday, though their home game against Manchester United on 22 October could be a more realistic target.

Nigeria Extends Ban On Flights By Four Weeks due to COVID 19 pandemic

The Chairman of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19 and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha, has disclosed that the ban on all flights will be extended by an additional four weeks. Mr. Mustapha stated this on Wednesday during the daily briefing by the members of the Presidential Task Force on COVID-19. He said the decision was based on the assessment and advise from experts of the aviation industry to contain the spread of COVID-19 pandemic in the country. “Tomorrow marks the last days for the enforcement of the closure of Nigerians’ airspace to flights. “We have assessed the situation in the aviation industry and have concluded that given the facts available to us, and based on the evidence of experts. “The ban on all flights will be extended by an additional four weeks”, he added. Nnamdi Kanu’s case adjourned till Jan 19 after lawyers walked out of court room

Kanu’s lawyers walked out of the court in protest over the refusal of the DSS to allow some other lawyers in the team to gain access to the courtroom, including Bruce Fein, Kanu’s lawyer from the US. The IPOB leader was on October 26 re-arraigned on a seven-count charge bordering on treasonable felony and terrorism. Accompanied by heavy security, Kanu arrived at the court premises at 8:10 am. He was brought into the courtroom at 9:52 am shortly after Binta Nyako, the judge, commenced sitting. When the case was called, Mohammed Abubakar, announced appearance for the prosecution.
